LA Riots

Poetry woven into fine art is one of the aspects of this piece that makes it unique. This mixed media work includes original LA Times newspaper articles from the 1992 Los Angeles riots. The images that capture the reality of that time are juxtapositioned with a white angel as the focal point, as well as messages in calligraphy such as “love” and “Revelation 21:4.”
